Well as you might already know the new 2016 Maserati Quattroporte was three years after the old model arrived. From the images you can see the visual difference between the two models, the new one will be available for buyers starting with this month.
Of course the new model has some great styling changes that will make you fall for it, but also it has some functional changes on the outside that deserve your attention. The new electrically adjustable Air Shutter fitted in the grille between the air vents and the engine's radiator, provides optimal control of the engine's fluid temperature. It also improves the aerodynamic drag of the car by 10% together with the new optimized front and rear bumpers, air conveyor and flat bottom.
What do we have inside? Well, you'll be surprised by the Apple CarPlay and Android infotainment system with an 8.4 inch high resolution. A new redesigned central, lower console features a rotary knob for volume and function control. The model is equipped with Air Quality Sensor, this system calculates the external pollution levels, and prevents polluted air and toxic gases from entering the cabin.
The new model is divided into two trim levels: GranLusso and GranSport, the base model has a 3.0 liter twin-turbo petrol engine that produces 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It may reach 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The 3.0 V6 S/S Q4 petrol models can go up to 286 km/h, while the 3.8 V8 petrol model can go up to 310 km/h.
